Well, Christine Angela just joined its first ever bazaar last weekend (November 5 -6, 2011) at the Cuenca Community Center, Ayala Alabang Village. It was organized by the Soroptimist International of Alabang. The experience was pretty overwhelming given the fact that it was our first time and we really did not have any idea how it goes.
It was a bit disappointing because of the many factors that affected the attendance of potential customers. Aside from the really bad weather, I think everybody was out enjoying the holidays. I also noticed how the bazaar wasn't at all promoted as well so nobody knew it was there. A friend (who happens to live a couple of blocks away) was shocked to see us there. He said he did not even know that there was a bazaar happening at the courts. Another friend went there because of our fan page updates about a bazaar happening at Cuenca! For the whole weekend, there was barely any foot traffic. It was such a lonely little place.
We packed up on Sunday night really tired and quite unsatisfied with the whole week-end. Ah well, it was really fun to have gorgeous friends come over to man the booth for the weekend. The whole experience was quite tiring but the learnings that we acquired out of it are very essential. Next time, We'll make sure to join bazaars appropriate for our style and just go even crazier with our booth ideas!
We'll continue to create more designs that would definitely make a lot of noise in the scene. What we ask from you is to give us a chance to prove to you that we are worth your attention. We promise to satisfy your taste and craving for never before seen styles.
Below are some of the photos taken from the bazaar! Enjoy! Feel free to comment. :> We'd love to hear from you!

I love Cuenca bazaars! Hee. I grew up in them, even if I haven't attended a lot of 'em in the recent years. They're having bazaars every weekend na, mostly because it's almost Christmas. YAAAY. True, they don't promote all of the bazaars they have. :( Buuuut they do promote the biggest ones (like the one happening at the end of the month!) that are like, four days long.
ReplyDeleteI love your packaging! I'm sorry it didn't go as well as you expected. :( But more power to you! And at least you've gained experience. :)
Hi Carla! Thank you so much for your feedback! Its great to hear from you! May I ask if you have a facebook account? :) I'm thinking of advertising you and your brand at our fanpage! :)
ReplyDeleteAww, nope, no Facebook account for my store - just a Multiply account. :( Just a personal FB account :)) Thank you, though, for the offer! :)
